In October, URA celebrated the life of a treasured partner, locked arms with Love and Care Ministries to bring assistance to Abilene’s unhoused population, and began its second internship partnership with Tel Aviv University! URA Guatemala brought much needed resources to a town impacted by a deadly flood, and celebrated tomorrows leaders with Kids Day!

In September, United Rescue Alliance got to visit the URA Guatemala team, had the annual team retreat, hosted the quarterly Big Country VOAD meeting, and gained a valuable new team member! Click to learn more about our fruitful month!

In August, United Rescue Alliance finished yet another Preparedness Peace training, ensuring that another church community is prepared for potential disasters. United Rescue Alliance Guatemala began putting the finishing touches on their new community center that they plan to use as a place to teach important life skills to the community! URA America gets ready to visit URA Guatemala and bring much needed resources.
