URA + Mountain Top One United Mission serving side by side

Earlier this year Mountain Top Church picked up over 1,000 pairs of shoes, for a back to School Bash, and on August 17 The United Rescue Alliance team was invited to travel to Cisco, Texas to come alongside Mountain Top Church and to pass shoes to families in need. By the end of the night the team gave a total of 412 pairs of shoes to the community.

That is:

412 names, 412 destinies, 412 lives impacted, and 412 People prayed over.

This goes far beyond passing out a pair of shoes, this was a opportunity meet others with open loving arms, and pray over the families as they received their new pair of shoes. It’s a opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus. As soon as families sat down in the chair they were met with loving arms, compassion, and joy. Each pair of shoes given represents something far greater than just footwear—it’s a step toward resilience and restoring hope for children and families who need it most.

We are incredibly thankful for this partnership and for the opportunity to serve side by side. Together, we’re reminded that when we unite, small acts of love can leave a lasting impact.
