Laced Up for the Mission

In the month of June, United Rescue Alliance Team had the inccredible oppurtunity to partner with Time to Revive to serve the community with love and compassion. Together, 5,011 pairs of shoes were distributed to the community-each one given with care, purpose, and love.

But what we brought went far beyond footwear, every pair of shoes given came something eternal: the life-changing message of the Gospel. Our team stepped into neighborhoods not just to meet physical needs, but to bring the truth of God's love and the power of hope that restores and renews. Every interaction became a sacred moment—an open door to listen, to encourage, to pray, and to share the Good News.

From the city blocks to quiet neighborhoods, something powerful happened in Chicago. United Rescue Alliance partnered with Time to Revive for a week-long outreach that left an eternal mark on the city.

In just six days, we witnessed 240 salvations, celebrated 105 baptisms, and received 1,040 discipleship requests—each one a soul stepping into new life and purpose. These moments were made possible through the dedication of 201 outreach teams, made up of 818 passionate individuals who walked the streets each morning, sharing the good news of Jesus.

What made this week even more beautiful was the unity. Volunteers traveled from 21 U.S. states and 3 different countries to stand together as one church on one mission—to see lives transformed through love, truth, and service.

Together, we also handed out 1,200 Bibles, sowing the Word of God into homes and hearts across the city. With the help of our amazing partners at Texans on Mission, we served 9,175 hot meals, making sure that both spiritual and physical needs were met.

Because behind every pair of shoes is a name.
A story.
A soul.

We are grateful for every heart we met and every step we walked together in Chicago. This is what happens when love shows up—and lives are never the same.
