Love & Care 30th Tent Revival

LOVE & CARE 30TH TENT REVIVAL

The Love & Care 30th Tent Revival was more than an outreach—it was a movement of compassion that brought together dozens of volunteers, local pastors, and community members to serve the Abilene Community. URA passed out over 600 pairs of Nike Air Jordans to families in need, alongside prayer, encouragement, and moments of healing.

The event became a sacred space where joy and restoration flowed freely. Over the 4 days, 89 volunteers partnered alongside URA to participate in 580 service hours. They participated in altar ministry and passed out 669 pairs of shoes. Over the next few weeks, URA will be releasing testimony videos from those directly impacted by Love & Care Ministry.

The night started with worship in the Abilene Convention Center, where people from all walks of life lifted their voices together in thanksgiving, and ended with our volunteers serving through passing out shoes, clothing, haircuts, feet washing, and a meal. The revival reminded us that the smallest act of kindness can open hearts to the greatest love of all—Jesus.

Capturing Stories of Hope in Kerrville

Capturing Stories of Hope in Kerrville

United Rescue Alliance traveled to Kerrville to meet with Johnny and our partners at Amazon to capture a story that embodies the heart of what happens when compassion and collaboration meet real need. Johnny’s journey—one of restoration, resilience, and renewed hope—reminds us that behind every response effort are lives being rebuilt and hearts being transformed.

Our interview with Johnny, supported by Amazon’s partnership, will help tell the deeper story of how resources, relationships, and faith can come together to make lasting impact. Stay tuned as we share more from this inspiring conversation and continue to highlight how every act of kindness carries the power to change a life.

Kairos Ministry Cookie Packing

Kairos Ministry Cookie Packing

Over 30,000 cookies were lovingly packaged to be delivered into Texas prisons this month. Each one carries a message of hope, forgiveness, and the unconditional love of Christ.

United Rescue Alliance was honored to partner with Kairos Prison Ministry International, a ministry that brings the light of Jesus to incarcerated men and women and their families. Volunteers from across the community gathered to help pack cookies by the thousands, filling bags not just with baked goods, but with prayers and purpose.

At URA, opportunities like this remind us that transformation often begins with something small—a simple cookie, a kind gesture, or a moment of compassion—that God uses to open hearts and change lives.

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” – Matthew 25:40
