Lifestyle Christianity Event

This March, the United Rescue Alliance team attended the Power and Love event in Watauga, Texas, hosted by Lifestyle Christianity University. During the 3 day event, the URA team spent the mornings listening to teachings by Todd White and Dan Mohler, both renowned evangelists, and the spent afternoons evangelizing in the community.

The team used this opportunity to grow closer in their relationships with the Lord and as a retreat time to grow closer as a team. It was an amazing week of fellowship and learning!

URA Guatemala

This month URA Guatemala announced an exciting university scholarship program provided by the Bosch Foundation. This scholarship will allow students to continue their education who might not otherwise be able to. More info to come in the following months!

The team was able to visit a young girl and her grandmother in Jocotillo that they support and provide resources to, like new school shoes!

URA Guatemala partnered with an organization called Lignum to begin socio-economic profile interviews for potential candidates for home construction. This is a very exciting opportunity for URA Guatemala and for the residents of El Rancho!

Virtual Trainings

Recently, the United Rescue Alliance team has started filming recordings for virtual trainings. These trainings will allow URA to reach a larger number of participants and bring disaster preparedness and response techniques to as many people as possible. URA is in the process of creating trainings for CERT, MESSH, COOP, and many more!
